My mission as a birth worker is to ensure that anyone who desires a doula has meaningful access to one. Research consistently shows that doula support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period can significantly improve outcomes and reduce maternal and infant mortality rates, especially for Black birthing people. Black women and their babies benefit profoundly from culturally aligned, continuous support, and as both a Black woman and a doula, I am committed to serving my community with care that uplifts, protects, and empowers.

My birth philosophy is rooted in the belief that every mother deserves care that honors her mind, body, and spirit. I support birth as a holistic and deeply personal experience that thrives through informed choice, emotional safety, and compassionate connection. My approach centers nervous-system regulation, gentle movement, breathwork, and trauma-informed practices that help mothers feel grounded and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I value the intergenerational wisdom carried through families and communities, and I strive to create a space where mothers feel held, heard, and supported. Through accessible tools, culturally responsive care, and a commitment to dignity and autonomy, I walk alongside each family as they navigate their unique journey into parenthood.
